Published in 1999, by Vernon Barker. Covering Riley 16/4 production cars Big Four and 16hp.1937 - 1940. A very detailed history covering the Adelphi, Kestrel, Close Coupled Saloon (Continental), 4 Seater Tourer (Lynx), Maltby Redfern Saloon, 16hp. Saloon and 16hp. Drophead Touring Saloon with 14 pictures. The Riley Register Series, Vol. 3 - by Vernon Barker, “ The Riley 12/4 Book” , history of development & production 1932-1945. The Riley Register Series, Vol. 5 “The Riley MPH” by Robin Cameron. A must have if you own these cars.
Below - The Riley Register Series, Vol. 4 -The Riley Imp by John Gathercole 2008. ISBN 97809553559. (Sadly John is no longer with us.) the book mentions an article which (includes some inaccuracies) in "Model Cars" published in June 1964, contents show p130 re the article.

Below left - Freddie Dixon - "The man with the heart of a lion" by David Mason, a comprehensive book on the life and times of Dixon, first published 2008 by Haynes publishing. Also a caricature of Freddie of the great man, was he ever seen without a cigarette! Right - F. W. Dixon 'Flying Freddie' 1892 - 1956, 48 page Paperback book published by Stockton on Tees Borough Council Museum Service to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death of this outstanding racing driver and engineer, it is a superb photographic record of his motorcycle racing career in TT races, Hill climbs, Brooklands 500 mile race and 1000cc Sidecar Championship. It also includes his car racing career in his Riley 9 and Riley 1½ litre.
